Why food exists: if everything were edible, the lazy/poor/hungry would cease to labor, collapsing world systems, and everything would begun to be eaten. first foods, then plants, then inessential objects and structures and finally humans would start to eat away at the earth until its surface area was too small to support life and/or gravity no longer held us down. (There might be some holes there but it's an interesting concept)
Everything in two categories: has teeth, does not have teeth.
